The Prince George Cycling Club website contains content (including, but not limited to, trail reviews, trail description, opinions, directions, maps, guides, graphics, photographs, logos, audio or video clips, and data) that is copyrighted to the Prince George Cycling Club or to other authors, photographers, etc. All material on the Prince George Cycling Club web site is copyrighted to the Prince George Cycling Club (hereon referred to as PGCC) unless otherwise identified.
PGCC/PGMBA will take any infringement on copyrighted materials very seriously. If you know of any infringement of the content of the PGCC web page, please contact PGCC/PGMBA immediately by emailing mailpgcyclingclub@gmail.com. Similarly, if you feel that the PGCC has infringed on the copyright of your or others’ material, please contact the PGCC immediately and indicate:
- The content being infringed;
- The person who is claiming ownership of the material;
- Your contact information.
Any contact that does not contain the above information will not receive a response.

Board Meeting
The Board meets once a month to discuss PGCC business. Below you can find links to recent Meeting Minutes.
AGM
An Annual General Meeting of the PGCC shall be held during the month of October or November of each year. All members are eligible to attend the AGM.

Election
We are seeking people that are passionate about cycling, enjoy working in teams, and have a vision for improving cycling in Prince George to apply for a Board of Director position!
To run for a Board of Director position or vote in the election you need to be a member that is 19 years or older.
Our board meets once a month and is comprised of many different people from all walks of life who all have a passion for cycling in a variety of forms. We all bring something unique to the table.
President
- Provides leadership and direction to the board
- Chairs board meetings
- Is the primary spokesperson for the club
- Reviews and recommends policies and insurance requirements
Treasurer
- Responsible for keeping financial records and books of account that are necessary to comply with the Societies Act
- Prepares financial statements
Fundraising
- Coordinate with other directors for funding requirements / initiatives
- Develop sponsor relationships within the community
- Acknowledge club supporters, volunteers, and sponsors through communications, trail signage, event banners, etc.
Secretary
- Prepares the agenda and meeting minutes for board of director, special, and annual general meetings
- Maintains records and documents of the club according to the club’s constitution/bylaws, and Societies Act
Membership
- Receives membership registrations and coordinates membership recruitment
- Is the primary liaison for membership inquiries
- Maintains membership records and provides information to directors and officers
- Carries out the duties of the president during any absences
Communications
- Composes and reviews media releases from the club, including the monthly newsletter, social media posts, and opinion polls
- Coordinates updates to the club’s website
- Acts as the club spokesperson in the absence of the President
Pidherny
- Provides leadership and direction to the Pidherny committee
- Correspondence with government agencies
- Planning, fundraising, and execution of new and existing trails
- Winter trail grooming
- Communicates current and planned activities to the Board of Directors
Learn to Ride
- Plans and manages the learn to ride program
- Provides leadership and direction for learn to ride volunteers
- Communicates current and planned activities to the Board of Directors
Mountain Biking
- Plans and manages mountain biking events and programs, including Gals n Gears and Co-ed group rides
- Provides leadership and direction to volunteers
- Communicates current and planned activities to the Board of Directors
Road Biking
- Plans and manages road events and programs
- Provides leadership and direction to volunteers
- Communicates current and planned activities to the Board of Directors
Urban Biking
- Provides leadership and direction to the Urban Cycling committee, which plans and manages urban biking events and programs, including: Go By Bike Week, Bike Swap, and Bike Force
- Communicates current and planned activities to the Board of Directors

The PGCC web page is solely an informational resource, identifying trails in the Prince George area. Preparation is always important when riding. The PGCC recommends that everyone riding be well prepared and ensure that they have the proper safety equipment. Please be sure to check the safety of your bike prior to riding, ensure you have the proper safety equipment (a good helmet, body armor, etc) for the activities you will be doing, and be sure to carry along with you the appropriate supplies for your ride (such as a tire repair kit, plenty of water and some snacks).
