Your Board of Directors
Our board meets once a month and is comprised of many different people who all have a passion for cycling. We each bring something unique to the table. We aspire to make a difference in our community and to improve the cycling in Prince George.
Byron Conroy

Born in Nova Scotia, Byron made BC his home in 2007 and moved up to Prince George in 2016 to pursue the northern lifestyle with his wife, Alison. They can be found exploring the wilderness of BC when not working and love to share their passion for mountain biking with new and old friends alike.
It’s been a pleasure to act as the Club president for the 2021 season. During the past year I have worked to liase with our community partners including the Caledonia Nordic Club, Rec Sites and Trails BC, and the City of Prince George. I enjoyed the opportunity to support and help coordinate the different events our Board members put on throughout the season and manage the various administrative requirements of the Club. In my free time I enjoy riding the trails around Prince George in the summer and ski touring in the winter.

Urban Director
Professionally, I am an RPF with and MSc from UNBC; I’m passionate about BC forestry and stewardship. I am an experienced tenure manager, a safety auditor and an advance drone pilot. Currently, I am employed by the Fraser Basin Council and am the GM for PGAIR.
Personally, I was born and raised east of PG. I enjoy camping, fishing hiking skiing, cycling etc. I am an avid cyclist who is committed to cycling to and from work during the snow free months. I used to ride and race with the PG road group as well as compete in long distance races and Granfondos whenever I had the chance. I recently purchased a Trek e-bike which I am enjoying thoroughly. While I still love my road bike, at 53, this investment makes my commute gentler and will help me continue to bike into town for years to come. Peace!

I’m a business owner on two fronts: finance and real estate. On any given day, you’ll find me in either a suit or construction clothes…or both.
I’m obsessed with cycling on all levels. I mountain bike, road ride, and in the winter fat bike; I ride all year round. My bikes have become my lifestyle and as such my family and I plan all our trips around biking destinations. I enjoy learning what other clubs are doing so I can bring those practices back home to further our club.
