What is an adaptive bike? The simple answer is a bike that makes the act of cycling easier for the rider, whatever their individual needs – whether that’s changes to an existing two-wheel bike or a need-specific bike or trike. Exploring the outdoors is finally possible for everyone!

We are raising money to purchase an adaptive mountain bike to live in Prince George and be used by anybody with mobility challenges for free. The location is to be determined, but the bike will be housed at a local trailhead and will be available for borrowing. This will include training by certified adaptive mountain bike instructors to ensure safety and good times. Money from this fundraiser will go towards the purchase of the bike, a place for it to live, a way to transport it, and long term maintenance costs. This will be the 1st service of its kind available in the north to take advantage of our fantastic adaptive trail network under construction!
