Quadrilogy – Hill Climb

It’s time to get ready for the PGCC Quadriology coming up at the end of July.

The Quadriology is a series of four events over three days that test all your abilities on the bike. There will be a crit race, hill climb, time trial and road race.

The Crit Race on Thursday July 21st will be a short course loop out on Beaverley Road West and Waldina Road. Distances will vary depending on the rider with a minimum of two complete laps required for scoring purposes. The Crit will start at 6:30pm.

The Hill Climb on Friday July 22nd will be held on University Hill using the 3.01 km University Hill Climb segment on Strava. The Hill Climb will see riders rolling out in one minute intervals beginning with the first rider at 6:30pm.

The first of two events on Saturday July 23rd will be a short Time Trial on Cummings Road Eastbound. This sprint distance of 5 kms will start at 10am with riders departing every minute. It will tax your systems just in time for the Road Race later in the day. The Road Race will be a 90 kms distance also in the Pineview area … exact course to still be approved.

Please note that there is a registration fee of $20 for all or portion of any event in the Quadriology. Every rider will receive a swag bag and there will be prizes as well. On Sunday there will be a big PGCC wrapup event for riders of all disciplines. More details on the wrapup event are coming.
