Executive

Josh Staub- President

I was born and raised in PG. Being a part of the cycling scene here and watching it evolve has been a real pleasure. I look forward to being a part of what’s next.

Heather Sapergia- Secretary: I think I was born on a bike, that’s how much I like riding.  Most of my riding has been done on urban and cruiser type bikes, although for a short while I had a road racer.  It was so fast, it scared the heck out of me.  I have taken a couple of long distance bike trips, one to Lake Louise from Prince George and one from Burns Lake back to PG.  Those are good ways to learn if your saddle is comfortable or not.  Thankfully, mine was.
When I was working as a medical lab tech, my bike was my stress reliever.  If I had a tough day, I would take a long ride on my way home.  My bike is still my stress reducer, there is nothing like speeding along with the wind in your face and a few bugs to spit out.

My current bike is a Trek Alpha which I have had for about 8 years and it suits me just fine.  Although, those new fangled e bikes look like they might be fun…
Cam Kucy- Membership: My name is Cam, I’ve lived in PG for the last 10 years. I like bikes. Like, a lot. Not just a little, but a dangerously excessively amount. My bike philosophy is simple. Ride as much as you can and have fun doing it! Rules for biking include: safety first, have fun, and never stop learning. 🤙

Directors

Jon Waller- Road Director: I was born and raised in Prince George. I picked up cycling later in life and have quickly grown to enjoy several disciplines, but Road is my main style. I love the cycling community, and am pleased to be a part of helping the community grow in Prince George.
Byron Conroy- Mountain Director: Born in N.S. Byron made BC his home in 2007 and moved up to Prince George in 2016 to pursue the northern lifestyle with his wife Alison. They can be found exploring the wilderness of BC when not working and love to share their passion for mountain biking with new and old friends alike.
Jacob Mullen- Learn to Ride Director: Working on the fastest athletes mountain bikes from Canada since 2017 at the UCI DH Worlds and working as the head mechanic at the local bike shop for seven years, Jacob has learned a thing or two about making a bike roll smooth. Since a young kid on two wheels he has always taken joy from working and maintaining his own equipment! Not only a great mechanic, he has been the head instructor for the Learn to Ride program for five plus years, all well working on growing the RADDEST moustache around to share awareness for high stoke levels. After creating a full time career of working on bikes and riding bikes, Jacob has become a key member to Prince George, British Columbia, and Canada! Once the opportunity arose to not only work as a mechanic for BCBR, but also to guiding the tour with the team, Jacobs moustache curled from ear-to-ear. Jacobs day to day life consists of being a bike mechanic, leader, husband, and friend to all. Safe to say if you see this guy on the trails he will be reaching for a high-five and sharing his stoke levels!
Devon Budd- Pidherny Director: I hail from the Northern metropolis of Mackenzie, but have been in PG for many years now. I have invested blood, sweat and soul into helping Pidherny evolve into what it is today. In my off time I spend time with my fam, ride a whole bunch and can be seen in my beloved VW Westy.

Members at Large (non-voting)

Dallas Hall-Member at Large: Dallas lives to ride mountain bikes and enjoys sharing his enthusiasm with others. Most days of the week you will find him ripping local singletrack, ready with a smile and a high five. Dallas played a significant role in the fundraising and purchase of the Snowdog groomer and is a member of the volunteer grooming crew.

Thank you.
